They arent really that bad on fuel. I get about 790k`s both tanks round town and about 950k`s cruising at 110kph full loaded (couldnt quiet make Newcastle -Melb with out fuelling)

I like the comfort so a little extra in fuel aint that much .

To get good fuel range dont drive with your foot to the floor, pay a little extra now and again and run PULP

The tanks in the cruisers are 90L front and 65L rear from memory.

they are are really nice car to drive, and great with everything except fuel consumption

as is the answer...one of them on gas will cost you 15 cents per km as opposed to 23c for a diesel...then the diesel uses twice the oil twice as often...filters are 30 bux a pop if you buy 10 at a time, the 4.5 uses a ford z9.....get injected gas and pay 1500 with the gov rebate and you will never look back.

U can put 75 litres of gas in a 100 witrhout a wheel carrier (belly tanks) and still have 145 litres of fuel. or a 110 gas tank up back and a wheel carrier, or both...95 ulp, 180 gas :)
