Outer Limits 4x4 Board

The fuel gauge on my 80 Series registers full on a full tank but stops at around half way instead of going all the way to empty. I got to keep an eye out for the low fuel light..

I haven't had a look at anything yet but any ideas on how to fix this to save me some time...

repair or replace the sender unit
