has any one ever put a a set of 75 rears into a 60's???i've read all about putting in the fronts and thats happening real soon but was just wondering about the rears cause im pretty sure they are about 4" longer than the 60 rears , can any one shed some light on this for me.

also should i pull the 75 rear pack apart and make it the same as the 60 pack thats in there or fit them first then take some out if i need to?

Are you talking about the axles?

IIRC a 60 diff is wider than a 75 by approx 50mm.

Hi Walks, sounds like you are talking abut the springs?

I don't reckon that you will get much benefit out of the front springs with the extra 50mm unless you get them re-arched.

The 75 rears are approximately 105mm longer and you would have to move the hangers out to make them fit. The rear 75 springs actually have less arch in them than the 60, so they would need some work too get any sort of lift.

question ...... if its is a petty and u put front springs out of a diesal sahara which are a higher spring aprox 4"-5" because of weight could you spoa the arse end with 75serries springs to get the level and better flex? helpin a mate gettin his working right and the sahara springs work well in the front but he needs more outta the back :?

I would have thought that by using heavy duty diesel springs in the front you would possibly have say 3" lift, but it would be too stiff. How about OME rear springs which are 3" lift and then extended shackles, giving you 4" all up?
