109" salisbury axle straight onto 88"???

was wondering if its a straight swap for the series 3 lwb salisbury axle onto s3 88"? anyone done this?
NO - the springs on an 88" are about 6" inboard of the springs on a 109"
So as a minimum you need to inboard the spring mounts.
You also need a very short custom prop.
