Outer Limits 4x4 Board

i tried to swap an 80 series (1992) rear diff centre with a 75 series rear diff centre (1992) 75 series diff centre went fine into 80 series housing and took axles all good but when i put the 80 centre into my 75 housing the shorter axle on the drivers side does not seem to go all the way in does anyone have any ideas

we took the diffs out of our 75 n put them in the 80 n put the 80 diffs back in the 75 n never had problems with the axels

was the axle easy to get out

ended up being two bent dowels on my hub closer inspection showed whole hub was in a bad state so i replaced it axle went in fine
