Cheap rims + tyres - Adelaide.

Post by murcod »

Due to a lack of interest on the forum I've listed my old Feroza rims on Ebay. Starting price of $9.99, so someone could get a bargain.

:? No bids with a start price of $9.99 - someone could have got a bargain!

I was even offered $50 by a shonky guy who was trying to buy them outside of Ebay- I should have taken it... That'll teach me for doing the "right" thing.

They do say "no good deed goes unpunished" and now you have the proof.

Every time I see a Feroza on stock wheels it just looks so wrong.

Your add probably would tell me but what size are stock wheels and tyres anyway ?
( usual disclaimers )

It seemed like a much better idea when I started it than it does now.

David - they would also fit Suzuki - perhaps that would broaden the market, especially if the offset is different from what's available.

Worth a try perhaps ?

Yes, I actually advertised them as fitting Suzukis as well. The guy who offered $50 had a Sierra or Vitara paddock basher he wanted them for.

I Emailed the guy after my last post- he rang and then tried to beat me down on price from the $50 he had earlier offered!

I told him to go jump and pay $50 or get nothing..... he's coming to pick them up tomorrow! :D

Ironically I've also received an Ebay message from someone in Melbourne (after the auction has finished) asking where I live in Adelaide and wanting my phone number to talk about buying them. :? Bizarre...
