Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Is it possible to build a winch mount without a winch, as in are there any drawings that indicate bolt patterns and space required for the winch. Or is it better to use a winch to ensure everything is fitted as closely to the truck as you might want it to be. if so does anyone have a winch a bloke could borrow as a pattern.

Warn have all the specs on their website. They all pretty much use the same mounting pattern.
