Outer Limits 4x4 Board

gday,
i have just replaced my 2L and have realised that the new has a single pulley for the fan belts where as my engine ran 2 belts. the problem im havng is that as i tighten up the fan the pulley pushes up tight against the timing belt cover and can not turn.
do these engines come with different style pulleys? the new one has a build date of 11/84, and the old engine was 12/83.
any help would be great as this is all thats stopping me from getting the engine running.

you may need to change the water pump with the twin pulley type or I may be able to help with a single pulley to fit.

hi mate,
the water pump seems to be exactly the same as mine so i dont think changing it would make a difference as the pulley is separate.
please let me know if you have a single pulley to fit.
