Hi Toyota Dudes !
Looking at making a Pin to Eye adaptor to fit a 80 Series Shock absorber to my GU Wagon.
i am trying to identify the top pin thread size and type ie: 10 mm Metric or Metric Fine, UNF .
Any assistance would be great.
thanks
Grant.

Grant,
thread depends on the brand.
Your old GQ now runs 80 Series Ridepro Shocks on the back but with the pin cut off and an eye welded on..
You might have some issues with the upper control arm on the sub tank on droop.
Rear brake line also may need to be extended.
Tailshaft might also need to be reversed if it rubs on the cross member.

I know smithy can do me the modified Ripe pro , but i liked the idea of being able to fit the adaptor to any shock , anywhere.
No one seems to make a shock for a true 3 inch lift, they are either to short or miles to long.
