GU runing gas and fuel at same time

I have a gu wagon 4.5 on petrol and gas , at the moment it is running on both petrol and gas. the relay seems to be cutting in all on its on and the gas and fuel gauge are both going down .
Any one have any suggestions

perhaps a bad earth for the control unit or switch, It must be fluctuating between both gas and petrol as to run both at the same time would cause the car to stall.( be the mixture is far from ideal ) way to rich.

Just turn off the gas tank at the tap till you can get it sorted, Maybe a bad earth on the relay or its on its way out.
