BEST Rear Spring/Shock Combo

Hey All,

Just querying everyone's thoughts towards the 'best' rear spring and shock combination for maximum articulation whilst retaining relatively good ride quality.

I'm looking at upgrading the dated OME gear that is currently fitted to the Paj. To be honest, I would be pretty embarrased to take it up a RTI ramp in current form - not that Pajero's are ramp queens anyhow

If you can, post a pic showing rear end 'flex' and state what gear your running, and whether swaybar is connected or not.

This is a pic of Deano who used to visit these pages when he owned his paj - apparently running the same OME gear as I am - I can't get this sort of wheel travel though :x

I would guess that Deano doesn't have his swaybar connected.

I've got OME rears and my swaybar is in the garage - I think my travel is limited by the shocks binding against the control arms.

id also consider the suspension lift and also the body lift that any of the pics may have as it looks like it is flex but it actually isnt.

i.e - the wheel looks like it is hanging out the guard by a lot = flex, when in actual fact it is a fair way out of the guard anyways thanks to the suspension lift and body lift.

Double shh! :)

This is with 4Way +2 coils and RidePro shocks, with sway bar on:

I've since replaced the springs with GU ones and longer shocks, but alas no flex pics to compare.
