4" Lift on 35's, F+R Air Lockers, F+R Barwork, Sliders, Warn Hi-Mount

No ratio specified and it WONT be 5.285 : 1, which is what you need to match the front.
So........
new crownwheel and pinion $500
Six stud wheels - say $100 for second hand
shift the spring pads on the Hilux diff
add bumpstop pads to Hilux diff
new U bolts
modify bottom U bolt plate
shorten tail shaft
adapter from Daihatsu tailshaft to Hilux diff ( that I can give you..... )
new hard brake lines.
Make new handbrake cables
fix F@#$%^ Hilux rear brakes ( at least for the first 50 km )
make and put in a solid pinion spacer
and is it a "big bearing" late model centre ?
Add locker ( after all thats why you did it... ) mechanical $500 air 1300
Get it fitted by a diff place $500
compressor if airlocker $200
wire the system up if airlocker
and what a bugger six stud rears 5 stud fronts..... unless of course you make special 5 stud axles and may as well make them out of HiTuff whilst your at it.....
If its a widetrack, width will be OK if its the RIGHT hilux model - widths varied over the years.

But I think he's asking about chucking a hilux axle under the front as well to give it a solid or live front end?
You appear to be making it sound like he's just replacing the front diff but keeping the same cv's and IFS setup... Or did I misread?

Mike is a mate of mine and (i think) if he were buying hilux axles he'd be aiming for a solid conversion BUT he could also be just wanting to get a locker in there!

Best people understand the challenges before they part out their money and end up with a unworkable or unfinishable vehicle.
If I was less attached to Daihatsu I could have given up a long time ago and built a Sierra or Vitarra - but I persist..... and will continue to - and with all the work I have done the Feroza does work on and off the road.
Look on the postive side - if anyones prepared to go to the effort of doing some serious work on their Feroza - I can save them lots and lots of time and minimise the f@#kups.
