6.5" lift?
what spring setup did he have, reverse shackle or other?
offer 4k and drop the ride height by 4 inches and would be ok.

General impression is what count mosts. If you weren't happy on first impression because it was rough it's probably not the one. Price is arguable too if it's in that sort of shape. 4in springs must be massively arched.
Remember the 4 drain holes (2 per side) are about 2in in diameter under the footwells. I'm yet to see a zook that doesn't have at least some surface rust around at least one of them.
Depends what your plans are for it. If you're going to cut it up and wheel it hard, save money and buy a cheap one, but expect to fix it.

Man 5K for that is waaaaaaaaay more than I'de pay. Mine cost me $3000 with body lift, ute chop, muddies on sunnys, and GTi motor with absolutely no rust. Just to let you know bargains are out there and don't jump the gun, that LWB a forum member snapped up was a steal.

yeah but if you buy that gear for for stock sierra, its gunna be bigger total cost.
just a thought.
in saying that. you are buying other peoples ideas on how they have set up the car.
I've done both, had a stocker and did it up a bit.
then brought a modified one rebuilt it and used it. was happy with it but there is things I would change.
now I'm back to the stocker and modifying it the way I want, and not all at once, but gradual, partly due to money, but also if I do one mod and think it sux I can get rid of it, without re designing other parts that were modded at the same time in a big all at once build
get a stocker.
you will learn to drive better and work out which mods you want. not what everyone says you should have.
my other 2cents is, keep it low, wide and no body lift. just cut guards!
enjoy ashley

Yeah I'm all for buying one already modded (I did lol) but I don't believe in paying for mods already done in the price unless it's something incredible.

ooohhh deiseling, that's not good. A proper carbon clean would be the first thing I get done, might stop the deiseling (running on). Also a 2 1/2 inch exhaust seams too big to me, you might be loosing power with that.
