what is the easiest way of removing the sump while engine is in car ?

I have a 90 surf ifs
lift engine or drop diff

Lift engine.

I did it to mine and dropped the diff. It took 1/2 a day.

If you dont have the under-slung A/C condenser, then dropping the diff might be easier.

On first read, I thought you meant the diff

Then I realised why you've removed the sump

is there anything i should check or do while i have the sump off.
