panhard bushes?

i dont have a hungy but have heard this gives similar symptons.. someone with more of a clue than me might be able to offer a more accurate diagnosis.

Yep, panhard bushes would be my first thing.......put in genuine, cheap and last longer.

I ended up cuting the old rings of the tough dog panhard and welding the ones on of my factory one the factyory ones use a slightly smaller bush and are much better and last longer

mmm thanks for all your help. Changed my front radius drop arm bushes to super pro ones and most of the wobble has gone just a small one left and will be changing the panhard ones on the weekend. but i also think my steering damppner has go so will replace that also.

Should i put on an RTC?

RTC damper will help hide any problem you have. wont fix it. RTC also increase steering effort and load on steering box and mounts etc.
I fitted one to my 80's and still had steering probs. after fixing the problems I removed the RTC spring and it has a much better feel without it.
Spend your money on something else

I would suggest an EFS extreme steering damper or an Ironman steering damper for a 100 series.

ok up date

went and got a new steering damper tough dog 9 way adjustable very expensive but i was desprate. put that on did nothing!! but the old one had given up. the welds on the end had almost broken off so it was time for a new one anyhow. got back home and changed panhard bushes and so far it seems i have solved the problem. well i hope anyhow! thanks for all your help. ill keep you posted if they come back!!!

The panhards again. I have chased this problem before and after rebuilding entire front end (panhards last) this was the only thing that fixed the issue.

Every time it starts I just tighten the bush a bit more and away it goes.
