Vitara Electric Windows

My drivers side window switch has snapped, pulled it out to see what was wrong. Put it back in, and nothing works. Windows are stuck, DOWN! Quite funny driving back home, in a pissing down thunder storm in a rainjacket and tarp over the luggage!
Anyhow, does anyone know how I can at least get the windows back up, by bridging the circuit or somthing? Or even better where I can get a new switch?

Cheers for any help

Ebay usally has them up. Failing that, Suzifour will have one.
They break alot those switches.

I have pulled off the door trim and applied power directly to the motor before. Just have to remember to disconnect your lead as soon as the window reaches the top.

If you live in sydney, I can give you a hand.

I think i struck it lucky. Took it to the auto sparky down the road, he got the windows up with a battery, but one of his mates is wrecking a vitara so i ended up getting a near new switch for 44 bucks. Problem is, i think a wire is broken or a fuse has blown because the bloody windows still won't work! Either way, after looking at the switch i can definitely say its a bad design, but then its lasted 14 years, and by that time suzuki dont give a shit do they. Fun, fun, fun these zooks are.

Thanks for the input guys
