Hi I'm looking at buying a GQ the older style

It has a 4"spring 2"Body lift and runs a TD42T W/Factory Rear locker and 35's. Not sure whether its auto or manual, I think its manual.

Unsure of any dates on the car, is there any other info i may need to know, any problems i may need to check? The motor has 400 000Ks on it but was apparently rebuilt 30 000Ks ago. The guy seams to be the sort of person that would look after the car (Active 4wder previously did training courses etc)

I don't know much about GQ's so any info will probably help me however i do know the standard things to check on any 4wd's (uni's, diff play, steering play, wheel bearing play, bushes, etc etc) so any specific problems would be much appreciated

jack all the wheels up and check for sloppy wheel and kingpin bearings
lock it up in 4wd and do some figure 8s make sure theres no major clunky stuff going on
check brakes
get revs done
get reciepts for rebuild
check all the suspension bushes
check engine mounts
if its after market turbo .. i'll need a blue plate

other then the usual maintence stuff ... GQs are pretty bomb proof
