Help

My VT V8 (in my 4 Runner) is almost ready to go, but no spark when cranking and trying to start.
I have tested the coil, OK.
The negative wire from the coil should connect to the ignition module of the computer. It is a brown wire and I cannot get continuity from the wire at the distributor to any of the brown wires on the computer plugs. I suspect the wire is broken.
So far pretty easy electrics.
My question is which of the three plugs that go into the computer is the ignition module plug.
I am concerned that if I put a jump wire in to replace what i suspect is a damaged brown wire in the loom I may blow the computer if I get it wrong.
Also any links to commodore sites would be helpful too.
Thanks.
