has anyone rebuilt an SD33 b4 how much did it cost and was it worth it :idea:

i got quoted $4500 to get mine recoed profesionaly, thats getting a new conrod and pistons and getting it bored... to do it yaself, no idea

Can get a rebuild kit for about $1200 including pistons, rings, liners, and gaskets. No conrods or crank though, shouldn't need doing normally I wouldn't imagine. Will need the sleeves replaced by a shop probably but could prob do it for under 2K if not much goes wrong
