Air Con for 75 series

Im looking at getting all the air con bits from a wrecker to put on my 75 series as it didn't come with air conditioning

anyone ever put air con on a 75 and what was involved in doing it??

any help would be great

Yes I have done it. There is not much involved, it is pretty much all just bolt up, and plug in. The advice I would give though is to buy one that is still in a car and connected with gas in it. I bought one that had been out and open for a while, and I had no end of trouble with seals tx valve etc etc. If you want to know more specifics, ask away.

Why dont you get a new non gen air cond, I know they are not quite as good as the gen ones, but atleast they are new

have a look in the yellow pages
Auto aire is one company, but i live in the west so dont know any over on the eastern coast
Speak to a auto electrican and they should be able to give some company names

They are easy to fit , easier then genuine, but a little fidderly

I have an aftermarket one in my 75 & it works great, cost about $1200 and doesn't cut out like the factory ones if you want to sit on 120k all day.
