Ive got hold of an EndlessAir compressor for my 85` Hilux ( LN65 ) and am having a bit of trouble knowing exactly where to mount it ?
Has anyone put one in , in that model car ? I think Im going to have to make up mounting brackets myself, but its a bloody heavy compressor so they are going to have to be made out of something that isnt going to break / bend when out in the hills.

Any help would be appreciated.

Where there's a will there's a way, have you thought about getting an air con bracket and maybe modifying / reversing it it. Is it possible to fit and extra pulley to the crank pulley, exhaust all possibilities with on engine fitting and if still no go check and see if the compressor can be mounted on the chassis and use a removable belt when needed, have done this to an early Landy with great success, the belt doesn't have to be tight to operate so you can just wind it on and off without making an adjustment. Another way is to contact Endless Air and see if they have a mounting kit.

Cheers

If ya had an AC Compressor, you could have just used it instead and save money. :D
