Well,

My rear locker is playing up again.

Does anyone here know the REAL way to set one up?

I have tried shimming it but i aint no mechanic!!

Just wondering of anyone else has experienced excess banging and clanking with their Lock Rite and if so how did they fix it??

Run bigger tyres ... worked for me ... was completely transparent with 33 swampers ..was a bloody nightmare with 31 hancooks ...

Also make sure your diff housing is strait .. if it's bent your locker will act like that

I've come across the same problem but found it to be a bent diff housing causing the axles to be on a different angle and causing the side gears to be not completily in mesh with the locker

IF that dosen't work then have a close look at the wear patterns on the dog clutches and side gears, and are the pin's still ok in the locker ??

Checked your tyre pressures?

I've heard the slight difference in rolling diameter can cause problems like you describe.

YMMV

Hey Damo,

I think he needs new tyres maybe some BIG WHEELS!
:D :finger: :D :finger: :D

Or perhaps a set of 26" sk8 board wheels like mine might help with that ricer turbo! and a rear wing like this one below some how attached to the bumper maybe?
