Airlocker Flange Cap 60 Series

Just pulled the rear diff out of my 80 series to do the bearings due to a failed pinnion bearing. A couple of surpirses:
1. It looks like the diff is from a 60 series, I spoke to the old owner (a work mate) and he thinks it came out of an old Troopy. No big deal other than the fact I had ordered in a kit for the 80 series.
2. The Problem. When removing the carrier bearings the one on the flange cap came off by hand. Inspection shows that the shaft had been centre punched all around prior to fitting the bearing. The old owner didn't believe me until he came around and saw it for himself. He had paid $1,500 in 2004 at a supposedly reputable transmission placed in Albury to have all the diff bearings done (still go the receipt) and has spent about 6 grand at the place. Anyway the shaft is undersize and the correct 45mm bearing wont fit and their are no bearing options available.
With some help from ARB I have identified that it is an RD02 Locker which is superceeded (parts no longer available) by the RD33. Don't know yet whether I can get a replacement Flange Cap as ARB diff section in Melbourne does not open until 14th Jan and the shop staff can not tell me anymore than I can find myself on their site.
Does anyone know if the RD33 Flange Cap will fit on the RD02? The carrier bearing size will be different (50mm) but if all else is the same on the mating surfaces it might work. Otherwise I may need to try and get the existing Flange Cap metal sprayed or sleeved.
Apprecitate some help.
