personally I think Redbook prices on some cars are so far out of touch it aint funny.. I think that this is worth at least the higher end of that scale, bearing in mind, you never get back what you put into a car.
sometimes worth stripping accessories and flogging that way..

I agree, keep accessories for next vehicle or sell them seperatly.
In the long run the market will determine the value of a vehicle, accessories rarely add to this value.

i realise this but i was just interested in some peoples feedback to what it would be worth as it stands .
it has a service history and does look good , i think i'd be happy with the upper scale of the redbook price .

I'd think of it as a really good buy for $30k depending on conditon...
if you do strip, how much for the incar shower ?

i'm glad to hear that , means it should sell quick hopefully .
only things i will be stripping of it will be the uhf maybe and the seats depending on if the buyer wants them or the original bench .

gday mate...
just for comparison (i think i got a steal really)....but in april 07 i bought a 2001 Gu ute with 138000km on it for $31800 and it came with $27000 worth of receipts of work done previously.
things like:
full bar work
custom tray
long rnge tank
air tank and compressor setup
f+r air lockers and factory diff gears
winch
snorkel
uhf
rollbar
4in lift with konis
35's
i have prob missed a lot but i couldnt believe the tally when i added up all the receipts it came with.
in my opinion i got mine for a steal, therefore you should get around the 30k or even a little more. redbook cant justify a modified car. all you can really do is ask what other people have bought theirs for and the mods they have as well.

Redbook pricing is a joke honestly. I just bought a 2001 GU 4.2TD wagon with 125k, safari intercooler, 3"exhaust and the usual essential touring mods for $34k. I think it was a fair price but no bargain but was a very clean unit with immaculate service history so I was happy. Redbook says $23500 - $26200 for something with 90-150k on it. I haven't seen one for sale within these parameters for within $6000 of this in the 12 months I've been looking...although maybe I've just been looking in the wrong places.
Anyway from my looking around I'd say you should pull $30-32k for your ute with its major advantage being the coil cab if its got full service history and in good nick like you say.
