Ah thats a bugger mate. Sounds like she didn't like the extra power you found. Could be related to the fueling/new injectors? Did you have an EGT gauge installed - what temps it at?

Goodluck with it champ.. I'm thinking an LS2 or 1UZFE would look better under your bonnet anyway.

temp was on the highway bout 150, full load up a hill for about two minutes was 550 - 600 has any one put a 1uzfe motor in a gu??

josh, speak to bubs off the forum hes done 2 in GQs and had awsome results with both of them. ive seen one of them and it is alot quiker than the diesel turbos.....

unlucky bout the new patrol though.
