Rebuild of 1.3lt

Is it worth rebuilding my 1.3lt. Broke a piston skirt on No1 piston and scored the bore.
Not sure whether it needs a bore or just a hone.
There is also a lot of carbon build up on the pistons and head so I'm thinking valve stem seals. It wasn't using any oil, even with the stuffed piston.
What do other recommend, yes I want to rebuild it.

re-bore it best thing try to go 2nd over in pistons as that gives you room to go bigger in the future

that carbon is normal on an old motor
just send the head off to get reconditioned unless it has been done recently.
i got connections for boring and pistons if needed. i only just got mine done and all worked out good

Best bet is to get the block and head looked over by a reputable engine builder. I just had mine done and it cost $250 labour to clean block, crank and rods, bore and hone cylinders to suit new pistons, fit rings to pistons and install, machine block face, grind seal positions on crank and polish journals.
New parts (pistons etc) were of course extra on top of that but it was worth $250 of my time to have someone else do it the work for me. Plus they had the tools and (more importantly!) knew what they were doing
Head service can vary from $50 if it just needs to be faced through to $250 if it needs welding, pressure testing and valve seats ground.
