Front mount Intercooler to suit MK TD patrol . I have NFI

was planning to go a top mount, but these days the plans are for more long distant driving than wheeling.
What size is too big/small ?. I have no idea really, but the old girl loves to get warm when shes under factory boost, and the plan is for a tad bit more.

I think your problem lies in the radiator, not the intercooler (which is actually an aftercooler).
An 'intercooler' may alleviate the problem but I'd start by servicing the cooling system.

They all get warm even when in great cond. They have a history of cracking heads due to combustion temps.
Need to sort out cooling system as part of preplanned serviceing for reliability
Around town the thermos never get turned on unless its a bloody hot day
