As Above.
MAYBE looking at getting a diesel Pajero, my wife loves to drive one her friend has and I am thinking if I can get one for a good price it might be the way to go. I would prefer the a full chassis.

Gen three (NM) was introduced about July 2000. I don't know when the last of the NLs was complianced - you may struggle to find one with a 2000 plate.

I have a 2000NL Escape, registered March 2000. It has a manufacturer's plate Oct 1999, and a MMA plate Mar 2000. So far, an excellent vehicle, but only done 188000 km, so it has a way to go.

Yep the wife has one but a petrol. Vey very nice car indeed ( exceed) Only problems we have found is the exhaust manifolds crack. Apart from that the lights on the dash for the super select just flash when they want :?: Tryed all the fixes mentioned here but none work. It all works fine so ha ill leave it be.
We had an issue with the car not restarting when it didnt feel like it every now and then but disconnect the positive and shes all good Seems to have fixed itself that one. :? Apart from that its a very good car and is the only car ive ever owned that i havent had majer problems with. (patrols manily before) It also doubles as a tow vehicle for my buggy so it gets to tow around 2500 tonne every now and then. It does it easy i reckon (manuel aswell).
So yeah go out and buy one and if ya can find the diesel grab it but me i prefer petrols now.
Cheers jamie
