I have to build a twin-stick setup for a mates GQ, and the other night i finally got around to drawing it all up. I am making a set for him and a set for me, but would anyone else be interested??

If i got some interest i may do a few sets wich will keep the cost down. Otherwise i will just do these couple as one offs.

what does the twin stick do?

my understanding is to allow drive to front only or rear only or both? is this correct?

Allows you to get rear wheel drive lowrange without unlocking hubs.
you need a rear disconnect to get front wheel drive only.

sorry guys, been sooooo busy, had to make a rear disconnect first.

I am still trying to work out an easy way of doing the 2 shift levers, the internal stuff is easy and all done, (parts for these bits are qiute reasonable!!) once i finish i will post up pics.

yep. I made it and have the parts for another one, but its not really a nissan thing so it seems, not enough really interested. If it was toyota or suzuki then we could sell hundreds... :?

you know that's because once you put fuel in them there's no money left in the budget for parts, and that's if they don't catch fire in the meantime :finger:

Maybe we just didn't know about it. How many people were needed for there to be enough interest and what did the cost work out to be? It might be worth mentioning on the Patrol forum too.

I think there's more interest in these sort of things with zooks and cruisers because they are so easy to do thanks to the US market.
