Ute cab onto a bundy chassis.

OK, have searched, nothing definitive.

My question is mainly do the body mounts for a ute cab line up to a bundy chassis.

the front panels bonnet etc. for the bundy i know fit the ute cab so that means the front mounts will line up (short bonnet etc.) but do the next 2 mounts line up? (in the footwell and under the seats) leaving the final 2 rows of mounts for the tray.

the width should be right, the back wheels might foul the cab but nothing a hammer/grinder/welder/moving the diff back a bit wont fix.

i think mark's 4wd daughter Danielle's bundy has had this done i have pinged him an email but they are busy and not going to get a sale out of me so understand they probably won't have time spare to waste on me!

has anyone done it?

do you have any images?

any troubles?

lifted a 75 series ute cab onto a SWB 70 chassis before i got rid of it

wasn't a bolt on swap is all i can remember was a while ago, probally doesn't help your bundy chassis question though sorry

Is it possible to chop a bundy hardtop body into a ute? Reason i ask is because bundy bodies are far cheaper than ute cabs, and the roof is easier to chop than my current troopy body. It looks like the rear wheelarch would be too close to the door.

i was going to do the same but i studied the length of the ute cab and it wouldnt clear big tyres dont think.. unless you do a wheel base extention.

pretty sure the marks adaptor car is a cut down 80series chasis or lengthened bundy bundy chasis cause it looks really long compared to a shorty.
