Hi there,

Im replacing my spotlights as the old ones have rusted.

Is there a type of plug that I should be using to do the connections or just cut it solder it and heat shrink it?

Replacing the narva lights with some light force 170's.

Cheers

I've got the Lightforce 170's on mine, they go very well. I just soldered and taped but heatshrink would have been the better bet.
Depends on how fancy you want to get or if removing them will be beneficial. You can get water tight plugs but there is always the risk of corrosion.

In the past I've used two pin hella style auto plugs, but I've recently started using narva 2 pin weatherproof plugs ( available from most good auto parts stores for around $6.00 per pair )
