Post by segan1 »

I have a 2000 GU 4.5ltr petrol and keep breaking engine mounts.
Does anyone know of a fix for this problem.
Cheers

always buy genuine mounts and also try chaining the block to the chassis. allowing enough slack to let the engine move but not tear the mount
1hd-fte 5 speed tiptronic 105 series

gu ute play truck For sale
FTE 80 series sahara Sold

do 4500 have saftey's like deisels? I know tb42 didnt in the early gq but havent looked at a later model. I have made some bolt in mounts to suit td42 and tb42 with trail arm bushes.

you can always wrap the mount with old seatbelt webbing, wont let it tear, but wont vibrate
