Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Hi guys i have a small pin whole leak on the front diff of my gq89 wags along the seam weld how do i fix it can i just weld over the whole or do i have to strip it down or something as to not cook the insides? Its only tiny whole not enough of a leak to be real worries but enough to shit me.

Hi drain your oil and let it sit 4 a couple of hours, degrease,grind out pin hole and weld up... it might only be a pin hole now but I seen a diff crack from that weld almost the entire way around... it had about 2 ' to go b4 it would totally break, wouldn't have been pretty....Paul
