I have just got the blending fitted to my Nissan patrol 4.2 non turbo diesel.
The company that fitted it had a 4mm jet letting the gas into the manifold. I picked up the car 2 weeks ago and I had to turn off the gas as the amount of smoke was unbelievable coming from the exhaust. Took it back the next day and was told the pump and injectors must be worn. Had new pump and injectors fitted next week. Turned on gas and Hello, back came the Huge amounts of black smoke.
Went back and they down sized the Jet to 3.3mm. Less smoke but still huge amount compared to the gas being off. And is Pinging. Took it back again and was told if I get any smaller Jet it would be a worthless exercise. The unit is the non electronic one. The power is really good with the gas turned on, but I know I will eventually get stopped for the Black smoke coming out the back. Looking for any suggestions.

Thank you all. The gas was supposed to give simular power as turbo. But makes sense re the black smoke. It certainly gets up and goes.
