so i have 3 batteries and im wanting to charge them all, and im to lazy to wander out to the shed to switch the charger between bats.

is it fine just to wire the 3 up in parallel and hook the charger up?

well more to the point, other than taking abit longer, it it going to fark my charger or my batteries?

Parallel charging is fine - the only issue would be if the combined bank tries to draw more than the charger can deliver. It shouldn't permanently damage the charger, but it may cause an overload device to activate. The form of device and what must be done once it activates will depend on the charger.

Just following on from what Scott posted, if you are planning on keeping the batteries on the charger for long periods, the trick would be to first fully charge each battery separately and once all three batteries have been fully charged then you can simply connect the three batteries in parallel and the charger will then maintain all three batteries in a fully charged state.

Cheers.
