sd33 missing when pointed up Hill

Mates mq misses real bad like it is suck air somewhere when you point it up hill. Yes it has fuel
It drives great on the flat and normal hills that you come to on the road but a little more of an incline and it misses, back it on to the flat give it a couple of revs and it's fine
any idea's?

primary fuel filter blocked ?

Checked and renewed. old one was not dirty at all it was realtivly new but replace never the less.

what colour smoke does it blow when it misses? black or blue?
does it only do it under strain? or even when reving freely?

the primiary is the screen in the banjo bolt nott he spin on one

thats been cleaned out as well.
Blows a puff of black smoke when free revved or you give it a gut full driving it like they should, And it does'nt matter if you are working the motor or free revving it up a hill it still misses.
