Outer Limits 4x4 Board

G'day all, just raising a general query regarding the new model hilux's. I am currently looking at getting one (SR5) TD, but am unsure about how the auto is matched to the vehicle. The missus is keen as on auto, but in all 4wd I have been a fan of manual.
So bottom line, is the hilux auto any good including power transfer or are there issues with it?
