Hi DJ,
Give Brett @ Aus tyre & wheels a call. They are in Ashmore, QLD, but had by far the best prices around and awesome service. I had mine within two days right to my workplace. PH - 07 5597 0099
Cheers, Jeremy

i spoke to one of the guys at tyres 2 u, i *think* his name was peter..... prolly wrong though. He was an awesome guy to deal with but couldn't come CLOSE to the price i got from brett in QLD. I told the guy i talked to to get himself signed in to outers so he can 'join the fun' etc....
Maybe give them a ring anyway DJ and see what they say, prices may have had a shake up

It ain't looking good....stoopid POS !!
Britswed is going hammer and tongs on it and said there is a small chance it'll be ready. Either way i'll be there as i'll be in the navvy seat for him if mine isn't there. Camera and bourbon in hand !!!!
See ya there mate
EDIT: I just offered my tyres to Spazbot, so you may have a review on them sooner than i thought !!
Not like i have to worry about them getting damaged or anything, the lux will barely be able to spin them !!
It was a slightly weird convo actually, old jimbo had a bit of a quiver in his voice as he hung up... and i thought i could hear a light slapping sound in the background
Don't know what that was all about though !!

These tyres are awsome
Im about to purchase some myself
There is a wholesale distributor at Bathurst for these tyres there name is tyre max. Not sure if you can purchase directly from them or not, better if you would like to stock them in a shop!
there number is 1800 444 773

It's fair enough to have an opinion on a product, but there is no need to pass judgement on a member of this site guys. Show a bit of respect to your fellow forum members...

I like the way you are dealing with the situation Rolly!
You are staying calm and offering solutions. Some people would go off and really start getting mad.
Nick, BRT, if you guys have a problem, PM the admin, or the guy in question personally. No personal attacks. I see he has even apologised for not being able to help, seems to me like he is trying to do the right thing!
Thanks for your co-operation. Any off topic posts, or attacks from now, will be deleted.

I have met Brett and as I posted a while ago in another thread, I don't think I have met a better bloke in the tyre buisiness.
The creepy crwlers look hell good and from all accounts work well.
Most times someone is an asshole is because you are a fuckwit wasting their time and they have a business to run. But even then, after meeting Brett I cannot see him being anything but a mild mannered very helpful fella.
Maybe you guys went to a different shop????

Depending on the shops main line of bussiness (if it is mostly dealing with "normal" rubber for commadores etc .. ) Then compared to the other guys in the Shop he may well be a guru ..
Alot of my non 4x4\non car friends refer to me as a car\4x4 guru .. as they know very little .. all of my car friends reckon I know sweet FA
It's all a matter of perspective

Sorry for the personal attack Rolly. It was bad sportsmanship.
Guess i was ref to the comment on the first post that said you had the best prices around.
You may remember I came in with my red gq and a feroza both wanting 5 bfg's for each (End of Nov /Dec ).
Also was after a suspension lift / Bushes / stearing damper for the gq.
Had to wait until you returned from fraser to bring them in.
Didn't know that you were a member of the board but maybe you have had an unbiased insight into some of your customers opions on your store.
without going into the situation, i didn't base my purchase's on price but on many other factors.
I Know you have a very successful business and hope that you listen to the good and the bad as it can only help comments like this not ending up on noticeboards.
Just the opion of someone who spent over 5K with the bloke down the road.
Once again sorry for the personal slur.

It takes guts to say sorry ...
...and it takes maturity and self control to measure your words on a public forum.

i would like to say sorry to brett (rolly) for my above comment, the brett i was refering to works at a close buy tyre shop to the one that rolly does, so the mistake was on my behalf. I hope that rolly has taken no offense to the comment and excepts the appology, as stated he is no 4x4 expert but does his best to help people out, good on you, and once again sorry.
