78/79 series grill to 75 series..does it fit?

Hi All
Can anyone tell me if a 78/79 series front grill fit a hzj 75 series.
I have studied photos carefully and they seem an exact match hole for hole. Wanting to fit a chrome one to my 75

slightly recall seeing one fitted to a 75 and if i recall correctly it did fit, but didnt really match up on the ends and a bit out gap wise. looked a bit slly

there was chrome one on middys that will fit for shore but not shore how easy it is to get one

Yey, ive got a turbo diesel midi chrome grill on mine, not easy to come by, they fetch round 200$ so i was told.

Theres chrome 78/79 series grills on ebay for $120 bucks. chaep as.
Ive already got the chrome blinkers a while ago. Fit perfectly.
Im dead sure this grill will fit 75 series, there an exact match when you image one from a 75 over one from a 79 series with the aid of computer technology..gotta love it

79 grill will fit straight on but leave gaps at either end where indicators sit unless you use 79 indicators also.

So do all the screw holes for the indicators and grill line up to? Or do you just have to tek screw em on over the original positions?

as i said in my first post you will need the side lights too stoner

with a bit of work it can go pretty close, sometimes you need to adjust the middles ones or bend the lower tabs across depending on year model etc.

yea me too the indercators and grill cost 198 on ebay brand new after market and they fitted strait up no mucking about at all on my 85 mdl troopy just changed the plug on the wireing . made the old girl look heaps better

does anyone have any photos of there grills and blinkers after they've changed it, just after an idea of what they look like. cheers
