gday gday
new to forum so heres hopin hopin someone can share a bit of knowledge.
so heres the thing ive got a 75 series troopie with a 2h which drives and runs fine, until i turn the lights on. it first started playing up only in the rain or anything water related but now is doing it all the time. when i turn the lights on it shuts off, but only for a split second, i hear click coming from the big fuel control relay on the passenger side near the floor and the EDIC motor pushes forward to shut the engine down and immediately opens up again to let the engine keep running. it does this maybe at a 5 second interval until i turn the lights off again then runs fine. have had some interesting drives home in the rain at midnight. also another issue, theres a heap of slack in my gearbox when its in gear, ive heard thing about a main driveshaft or layshaft or such that can be replaced without having to take the box out completely, just slide tailshaft ot and something can be done, any hot tips regarding that?? cheers , bryan
