Outer Limits 4x4 Board

Quite some time ago a shop sold me some 15x7 rims and 31's for my poojero.

Now i've been told recently that they're not legal or safe to use because the rims weight is being taken by the wheel nuts, not the raised part which should sit snugly into the hole in the centre of the rim.

First problem, is I don't know what to call this, secondly, can i get, is it legal to have and what would you call a spacer to fix this problem...?

(I would have searched, but I don't know what to search for)

Very good question, I dont know the answer though. I to noticed this when I put my landcruiser rims on the wifes Jackaroo. I didn't like the way the bolts were hoding the weight so got tyres swapped to the OEM Jackaroo rims. Don't know if it was a problem or not as 2wds and some commerical vehicles dont have a hub

I think the part you are referring to is a locating ring which is perfectly legal (and recommended) as opposed to a wheel spacer (completely illegal). Not sure where you'd get one for your particular vehicle but surely a wheel/tyre shop will be able to direct you. Try Ryano from Fourbys, if anyone will know it will be him.
