Yep all the mechanical specs are the same. The chassis on the trayback is different - the fuel tank is behind the cab (same tank as a normal sierra, just a different filler location) so a spare tyre can go under the tray behind the rear axle.
They normally have the base model sierra dash which means a plastic dash like any other narrow track but no tachometer.
The seats are fixed in the utes (no adjustment at all) and they're terrible. the floor is slightly different to a full body car - the passenger side seat mount is the same as the driver's side, not flat on the floor like the tilting seats.
they're the only real differences. All parts are interchangeable.

if ts had a 5 speed conversion,it was a 1 ltr maruti N/T not a 1.3 from factory. but thats not a bad thing lower transfer ratio and diffs. only bad part is no brake booster. All 1.3s were 5 speed.

I know what you mean about the brake booster. We put one in my maruti when we did the engine and 5-speed conversion. I'm glad we did. Makes a big difference.

P.S. most 'zook stuff will also bolt up to a Maruti. Geez, for $5500 you could have mine.....

Why? same cylinder, same brakes, nice consistent pedal even when stalled/engine off. Yes pedal effort is higher but feel and modulation is superior too.
Never had unboosted brakes before my 1.0 and I'm in no hurry to fit a booster.
Just my 2C.
Out of interest, the unboosted 1.0 brakes have a very similar feel (wen adjusted up) to the Brembo's in my STi. Yes. te Brembo's are massively more powerful etc, but the pedal feel is very similar.

They just have a surprisingly hard pedal for a road car. Wouldn't mind the same Bosch antilock in the 1.0 as I have in the STi - It's very, very good.
Like I sad, I like the unboosted feel. It might not be everyone's preferance though, but booster or not, braking power is the same, only the pedal feel is affected.
