h155f vs h151f

how are we all ,i,m new here and have a question .how much difference internally is there between a h151f gearbox and a h155f gearbox .reason being i have a h151f with a broken output shaft and mr toyota wants two legs an arm and my first born (which he can have )for a new shaft but i can get a damaged h155f box of the internet cheap as .hopefully some body will know if they are compatible cheers cruiser sig

Never heard or seen a H155F.

If you mean a H55F, then yes lots of difference, completely different box.

i,m familiar with the h55f,apparently the h155f came out in the 5 cylinder diesel model pzj cruiser (i think its a 1hd with a cylinder cut off)externally looks like a h155f but not sure internally ,or alternatively does anybody have a spare output shaft for a h155f lying about,here is a link to this box http://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing ... =136002393 cheers sig

yeah weird a i didn,t beleive it till i saw one either,looks like a short 1hdt ,same style of tappet cover and all , 3.5 ltr

1PZ is a 5 cylinder version of the 1HZ, i.e. non-turbo indirect injected.

it will be either a h151 or a h150
never heard of a h155

that said the only difference is ratios and sometimes input shaft length

a h55 wont be the same tho
