Hi All
Am new to the scene in OZ was big in it back home. Am buying GQ SWB locked up with LPG. Maybe too late to ask but have I done the right thing? Any and all advice is welcome.

welcome to australia. i hope the weather isn't what you expected. haha. i hope you settle in real well.

can never go wrong with a nissan. i got a short wheel base myself, currently building it into a comp truck. definitely need them on gas though, fairly thirsty. but otherwise a great motor. just watch the shorty on hill climbs...they like to wheel stand a little :shock:

once again, welcome. any questions you have there will be plenty of informative answers on here. i live on the sunny coast ((about 2 hrs away)guess u live in brisbane by your profile). look forward to wheel with ya one day.

Thanks Paul. I have heard good things about landcruiser park. I think that is near the sunshine coast. Well one can hope i dont have to drive too far because the longer you drive to a spot, the longer the walk home is...

cruiser park is just over an hour drive from my place. love it out there. and may be heading there next weekend for australia day weekend. keep an eye out on the "trips and tracks" section of this site and u will be tagging along on trips before u know it
