Decent catch can

Anyone have a recommedation on a decent catch can ?

thats probably one of the best cans i've seen.

also http://www.eliteengineeringusa.com/Catch_Can.html looks good.

main thing is they have filtering medium which most don't have.
the other thing is the size of the inlet/outlet. most are 9mm, for most diesels you need 1/2" 15mm.

unfortunately most that are easily obtained are just empty cans which will need modding.

Diesel service shops usually sell decent sized catch cans, that is where I got one from. The supercheap style cans are a bit small for a big diesel IMO.

somethings majorly wrong if your blowing out a litre of oil. tho some clubs/racing etc have rules on minimum size in case of roll over.

if your having large amounts of oil you simply rig up a return pipe to the sump so it automaticly empties back into the sump.
