Tightening front wheel bearings

I have a 99 model NL Pajero auto front hubs.Want to know how to access front wheel bearings to repack and tighten.

I would seriously doubt you have auto hubs. They were discontinued in 1990.

But to repack them, Wheel off, 6 nuts holding drive flange off, centre cap off, circlip off, washer out,
Then you will see 2 heavy screws that I seem to always need an impact driver to get off, take brake assembly off and tie out of the way (don't undo break lines as you don't have too)

Un screw bit the screws hold in place, slip rotor off and violah

Nope my NL has auto hubs, unless you ment that you doubt he has manual hubs, as I believe all Pajeros from 1990 onwards had auto hubs.

If you have super select then no auto hubs. There were some with the part time 4WD that proabaly had manual hubs (In NZ anyway).

Auto hubs finished with the introduction of the Gen 2 Pajero late 1990 or 1991 (whenever it was)

Or you could prove me wrong with pic's :cool: There have been random things before.....


OR - are you confusing auto hubs with the vacuum front diff disconnect?

My 92 NH definitely had auto hubs :finger:
