Competiton Hilux sell or partout?

As most of you are aware the hilux has been off and on the market for a while.

The plain fact of the matter is I can't make up my mind wheather to sell or not or to part out or even swap to a donor rig. the hilux works very well and there are times there is no way I want to sell (like winning nissan trials outlaw class)

to go again in building another truck will most likly end up in devorce  and the cost to build again from the ground up just makes my wallet smoke thinking about it. yet it would be fun to go again and I have some wicked idea's I'd love to play with too.

option 1: sell complete hilux ready to compete and start again.
option 2: part out major components and have a revisit to the professor.
option 3: forget about selling and just drive it!

This is not a for sale just a note to see if there is interest in the rig as a whole or if there is interest in some of the parts on the hilux.

discussion about to sell or not. To build or buy ??

I won't be discussing price on this thread but if there is somthing you're interested in just contact me ]

Option 3.

But don't put any more money into it because you will probably end up selling it. The secret is a positive attitude towards it.

Will building another vehicle end in divorce due to time or money?

Regardless of how many parts you have lying around the time (as you'd know) is more often the killer.

Why not just change what you've already got?

Keep It.

I'm going through the same thing. Keep it, sell it or part it out and keep some of my parts for the buggy I'm going to build.
I hate these trucks :D !!

Yeah I'm all most in the same boat with my hilux. I'm pritty much over driving the hard stuff these days and I am most certainly over comps. So 9 times out of 10 when I go away for a weekend which is rare these days I prefer to take the 80.

I'd sell the hilux if somebody was to give me $20,000 but I can't see that happening. But at the same time I don't owe any money on it so I may aswell just keep it and drive it every now and then and get some use out of my money that is tied up in it rather then somebody else injoying it.
