Vacuum hose locations?

Ive fitted a replcement engine (8 valve) to my sierra but unfortunately because the new one was out of a swift, Ive had to fit the original carby and inlet manifold onto the new motor.
Because the old one was taken apart by a mechanic (who broke the news the head was cracked) all the vaccum hoses were taken off by him and not labled.
I know I have the hoses are on wrong and that would explain why it runs so bad when its cold!
Has anyone got any pics of where the hoses go on their computer? Ive done heaps of searching and it seems this comes up a bit, but the threads are so old the pictures are gone.
A good starting point would be where the charcoal canister hose ends up on the motor and the hose from the air cleaner. If anyone still has one in stock cond, even a description could help - Cheers

There are two spouts for vacuum just in front of the idle mixture screw.
The one below the butterfly shaft is for vacuum advance and goes to the distributor.
The one above the butterfly shaft is for the charcoal cannister.
Not 100%....but I think the secondary diaphram will work if hooked up via a 'T' piece in the cannister hose.
Mine isn't connected.. I've never noticed it before.. Would sure make a difference having secondaries!!!

OK charcoal canister and distributor are hooked up as described now -
There is a solenoid (bolted to the firewall) and I think one hose off it goes to the inlet manifold - where does the other end go??

And can someone tell me where the air cleaner one goes?

No worries mate, glad to help.
Solenoid thing on firewall ????. Got a pic?
Air cleaner has two hoses.
One goes to air control flap in the intake pipe before the air cleaner.
The other goes to the EGR valve on the inlet manifold under the carby.

Yeah sorry solenoids the wrong word, valve.

The hoses around the EGR valve are all messed up and Im not sure which spot to put it on (upper or lower one)

Got a pic??? Mine doesn't have anything vacuum related on the firewall. Neither does my parts catalogue.
