SWB leaves available

Post by BundyRumandCoke »

I was out at the local wreckers yesterday and today. They have an early SWB rocky, diesel, and I noticed the leaves are aftermarket, about 5 leaves each, not sure of brand. The rears are stenciled DAI4, I think.

The wreckers have changed hands recently, and the new owners are only interested in keeping a limited number of late model wrecks, so out of about 250 vehicles, about 150 are going to be crushed and scrapped. The Rocky is one of them. It was the old owners yard vehicle, and ran well. It originally had been laid on the drivers side. You only have about a week to grab this, the amount of time they say it will take for their forklift to be repaired.

No motor, gearbox, or transfer, but these may be inside. It did have power steerm and AC, but about the only thing left is the steering box. Front and rear axles are complete.
To give an idea, I scored the drag link/tie rod end assembly, RHF guard, and front mud flaps for $100 today.

Darrs auto wreckers, in Gladstone is the business. If you are interested, give them a call, and me a PM, I could organised to pick them up and get them freighted for you. If you are after any other parts off it, give me a yell, and I can tell you if its there, or go check for you, but you will have to organise for them to remove it.

Cheers

DAI4 is a EFS part# for the rears and DAI3 for the front
Thats what mine are must be the same as LWB.
They have a longer main spring and are 2"lift.
Cost about $350 per end with bushes.
