Hello there all,
How hard is it to change the rear main seal in a coily zook?, are there any special tools required?, could someone provide a step by step for me(ive seen one around....somewhere!), im mecanically minded but ive heard there a b&^ch to fit, ill pick up the seal tomorrow and do it over the weekend, if anyone can give me some helpful advise it would be much appreciated!
thankyou

remove gear lever , disconnect battery , remove starter motor , and 2 top bellhousing bolts , unplug plugs going to box near coil

under car ...

remove rear g/box mount , clutch cable , intermediate shaft , drain box oil , remove stupid bar under g/box bellhousing between chassis rails , remove front driveshaft (leave short end slipshaft bolted to t/case) remove 2 lower bellhousing nuts.

manhandle box out remove 6 pressure plate bolts take off pressure plate nd clutch plate , remove 6 bolts from flywheel take off flywheel voila your there !

pry out seal carefully not to damage rear seal housing or crank , put new one in i use a special tool for this but yu can use a punch or something without sharp edges and eveny knock it in , refit flywheel with bolts use loctite threadlocker , do up tight (farkin tight) im not looking now but i think its 80n/m ?(bahh i use a rattle gun ok !) refit clutch and pressure plate with aligning tool , manhandle box and reverse removal procedure...

have i missed anything ?
